When you're sad, don't go shopping to make yourself feel better. It doesnt' work.
Do one of these instead:
Go for a walk.
Do some gardening.
Watch the birds.
Smell a rose.
Go to the gym and work out.
Walk along the beach/river.
Throw skipping stones into the water.
Play with the dog.
Hug your child. Or your husband/wife/partner.
Listen to good music.
Go for a bike ride.
Read a book.
Watch the leaves grow.
Volunteer for your favorite organization.
